Vauxhall Zafira 20,000 miles needs new gear box

Hi I have a 67 plate got from brand new 18 months ago and the clutch felt loose taken to Vauxhall dealership got car from and they have told me it needs new Gear Box ! My husband drives for a living and knows how to drive car is not ragged or driven at crazy speeds. Has anyone else had this problem?? And how did you get on ?? Thanks.

The lifetime warranty was discontinued in January 2015 however it should still be within the normal 3 year warranty if it has done less than 60,000 miles.

"Vauxhall Zafira 20,000 miles needs new gear box"....sadly I see nothing unusual with this statement. They don't make 'em like they used to.

Just drop it off at the dealers and they should replace the box FOC.

Faulty gearbox.

Should be replaced under warranty.
