Hello guys.
Benny_Digital
Please forgive me, I'm not the sharpest tool in the toolshed.
I have read the "Newbies" post several times but a few points just aren't sinking in - any help greatly appreciated.
PCN received from ECP through the post - the registered keeper was not driving at the time, the driver at the time had no choice but to pull over due to a panic attack, there may have been signs but the driver was in too much of a state to notice.
My questions are: does it matter whose email address is used to appeal on their website using the template you guys kindly provided, and is it correct that the name and address on the received letter is used to sign off at the bottom of the template?
Again, I'm sorry but I don't want to mess this up as I get very easily confused.
Thank you very much.

No and yes.My questions are: does it matter whose email address is used to appeal on their website using the template you guys kindly provided, and is it correct that the name and address on the received letter is used to sign off at the bottom of the template?
What happened when you FIRST OF ALL (always) complained to the retailer whose car park it was, even if the shop was closed? Worth complaining.
Do you and the driver know they could have pulled over ON STREET, even on double or single yellows or in a bay, temporarily, for an emergency?
Never, ever ever, ever, ever, seek out a private car park. No reason to drive in.
Never let them do that again, even if ill.
Avoid bus stops, school zigzags, crossings, red routes, taxi stands and bus lanes but most of all avoid PRIVATE LAND (and don't say they didn't know it was private land). The term 'private land' has no special meaning, it's nothing more than non-Council land!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks.
No, we weren't aware?
I will call the business tomorrow and see what they say.0 -
Hi there...
Right, I called the company (Harvester) but they were no help at all, so I sent off the template from the newb section and within a few days I received an email with some more pictures of the car (driver still not visible) also a picture of some signage (which is pretty clear)
Wondering if you helpful guys can tell me if I still have a leg to stand on, and what my next step will be?
Thank you very much.0 -
If this had been a LA car ticket they probably would cancel, see MC1
https://www.cheshireeast.gov.uk/car_parks_and_parking/penalty_charges/how_to_appeal_against_a_pcn/mitigating_circumstances.aspx
Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams so complain to your MP.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies. .You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
Please confirm the name of the PPC, not just the initials. This will determine which ATA the scammers belong to which in turn will determine your next course of action.
This is explained in the NEWBIES, which is a brew and biccies job, not a skim read.
Please also tell us the reason why the PPC sent the NTK. (Acronyms can be found in post 5 of the NEWBIES).
You also need to get your own pics of the site and signage as well as complaining to your MP about this unregulated scam.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Write bad things on Trip Adviser about thrir disregard for their potential customers.
I could send you a clear picture of my dog, but it wouldn't create a contract about parking.0 -
It's EuroCarParks - Advice on the next course of action would be greatly appreciated. I had an accident some time ago and find it hard to understand quite a lot of things.
Sorry to be a pain in the backside..0 -
You don't need advice yet. The NEWBIES thread covers POPLA stage, in post #3.
Read it and use the links, and show us your draft POPLA appeal.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

If you have a PoPLA code, use it. Construct an appeal using all the template points from post 3 of the NEWBIES. Post it here for checking before you submit it.
In addition, do as I suggested in post 6.You also need to get your own pics of the site and signage as well as complaining to your MP about this unregulated scam.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.
