Does the PIP assessor see the actual points they are awarding you?

Hi folks,
As the title says does anyone know if the PIP assessor see the actual points they are awarding you, or just the specific descriptors without the points in their test software?
I realise that the points for each descriptor are freely available on the internet and are more easily to sus out for the mobility part, so hence the question if they can actually see the number of points for each descriptor on the actual software that they use?
If the answer is they can't then would I be right in saying that a lot of them are just focussing on giving a particular descriptor for a specific activity, and let the decision maker tally up the points?
I have also been told (which I believe) that mostly the decision maker or PIP manager usually just rubber stamp the assessors report anyways.
Thanks a lot for any clarification.

I have no idea, but it does seem they go on the assessors report. The points I was awarded were exactly what she gave0 -
I don't believe they have 'official' access to the points as the DWP want themselves to be the ones to officially make the decision.
But they are laid out in the report in the same order as any points table, and it wouldn't take much for an assessor to find them out, either Googling or just common sense almost, if you work within the system.
The decision maker than just summarises the main justifications for the descriptors and applies those points. I've yet to see a report that suggested different descriptors than ones awarded.0 -
Thanks,
Probably the point I am getting at is, rather than the assessor taking a conscious decision to either try to either get you pip or not, that they are more busy trying to write up the report and give a selection for each descriptor, so at the end of the day they are not too bothered whether you get an award or not.0 -
My assessor was at pains to tell me that the points awarded were not her decision.
But she also said that she would be amazed if I didn't receive an award0
