Can complaint be resolved without my consent

    Yes you are right (as always) of course..

    in my mind I was thinking more of every time I have made a complaint it has usually been resolved by the customer service rep who goes to some trouble to check that they have satisfied me and that the complaint can be closed woth my agreement

    of course in the situation where no resolution is found and Deadlock occurs then that would be a different matter but for some reason I did not think this was what had happened here as it was far too early in the procedure

    in any case apologies for the confusion
