Redundancy Query

Options
Hi,

So I'm being made Redundant at the end of September.

I will have been with the company 3 years.

I joined in August 2016 and was 21 years old, I turned 22 in March 2017.

Would I be paid 1/2 week for the first year or a full week, or is it pro-rota'd?

I believe it's based upon your current age. Have you checked you don't get enhanced pay?

    Enhanced pay?

They've gone with statutory redundancy policy.

Given us a incentive bonus to stay until the end however.

You work backwards from the relevant date which is usually the date of termination

    Full years only count.
Only 1 year is at the 1week per year rate the other two will be 1/2 week rate.
