Holiday let insurance costs

I'm thinking about buying a 2 bed house to let out as a holiday let. Since I haven't bought the property yet I'm having a hard time getting a quote for holiday let insurance.

Does anyone have experience with this that could give me an idea of what I'd need to pay per year? I just need a general idea to know if this is feasible.

Thanks, actually I tried this but they want very specific details which I didn't have, ie. which agency is managing the property etc. It's just a very long process and was hoping someone could just give me a rough idea of what they pay...

Have you tried asking one of the specialist managing agencies?
When I was looking at a holiday let they were quite helpful as they would obviously like your business. I was interested in likely occupancy ratio and eventually decided that if you took a realistic view on the number of weeks it could be let then the profit was not nearly as much as I first thought.
If you can deal with everything yourself you obviously save a lot but just the turnaround cost of cleaning and laundry can be £100.

Thanks, good advice, do the managing agencies also find insurance for you? Or maybe they would know what the average cost was?
