Hello all
Am looking to relocate from Surrey to a new job in Chester and have been looking at the Delamere Park area as it has good schools, appears to be 30 mins drive to Chester and has a train line too.
Does anyone have any insights on this or any other areas good for families with primary school age children? We are also looking ahead to catchment for good secondaries too.
Many thanks

I grew up on the Wirral and have spent a lot of time around the area. Delamere forest is a fantastic place for walking and kids etc. now.
Great location being close to Chester, Liverpool, Leeds & Manchester and great for access to airports.
Also great access into North Wales for days out at the weekend to places such as Moel Famau, Snowdonia, Betswy Y Coed etc.0 -
I grew up next to Delamere. Great part of Cheshire to bring up children. Frodsham is a nice town with excellent transport links and schools.0

Consider moving over the border to North Wales why, free child care fees.
My daughter did this and saved enough to cover her mortgage. She also works in Chester.0 -
I lived in the North West (Manchester and Cheshire) for 25+ years. Delamere would be a really good place to choose to live.0
