If I have BT sport on the main SkyQ box will it automatically be available to view on the Sky Q mini boxes without paying BT the extra that they ask for ?
You cannot add extra Sky boxes online, but need to call BT to “add” the mini boxes. This suggests to me that as Sky Q mini boxes connect via Wi-fi through the main box, that whatever is available on the main SkyQ box will/should be available too on the mini boxes. Is this why Sky do not charge for multi room on SkyQ contracts? Are BT trying to pull a fast one?
Advice and views welcome.

No, you have to pay BT for multiroom use.
Sky do charge for mini boxes, they call it the Sky Q Experience and costs £12 a month extra generally (also needed for 4K content).
Edit: It was £6 a month for a 2nd box subscription for BT Sports although you may get the first 1 to 3 months for free if you haggle. As an aside you can't watch Boxnation through BT Sports on the mini boxes, only the main box.0 -
If you hang on a bit BT sport is being offered through Sky later this year. The pricing through Sky may be a bit more realistic. BT seem to offer better deals if you go through a third party.0
