Default listed on credit file from Vodafone

Hi all I’ve spent the last year or so working on paying off debts and improving my credit score. It’s gone up, but is still considered very poor 😑 Few things seem to be impacting this; a CCJ (more on that soon) not registered on electoral roll; have done this now and a few credit defaults. There’s 5 in total, 4 have a balance of zero so not sure how I can remove those? Any help would be greatly appreciated with regards to those.
The one that bothers me is for vodafone. It’s for an amount of £133 and I’m puzzled. I’ve been a customer of Vodafone for a number of years and currently hold two accounts with them which I’ve never missed payments for. The address they have for this £133 I lived at for 18 months from 2012 to early 2014 but the default is registered from 2016. I’ve tried ringing Vodafone with little success as they can’t seem to figure out what I’m getting at.
Any help?
With regards to the CCJ; it’s for an old overdraft I had with Lloyd’s bank, it went to a collection company and I’ve settled the balance with them. What I would like to know is can I contact someone the county court perhaps and have it noted the debt is settled? The CCJ was issued in June 2014.

First off, ignore your credit score and stop trying to increase it.
Lenders do not see, care or use it when they make their lending decisions.
Regards the Vodafone Default - have you raised it as a complaint with them rather than going through the call-handlers?

Really? I thought it was mostly down to that? Want to buy a house in next couple of years but worried I won’t get a mortgage/get a dreadful rate.
Tried contacting them via twitter but not got anywhere as they’ve yet to send me a verification code via text. Thinking of popping instore on the weekend.

What is the status of the CCJ showing as on your report - not the "how is it affecting my score" status but the actual account status (Open, Closed, Settled, Satisfied etc.).

I never knew that at all! It’s still good to have a good score though. What do they look at on your file when making a decision then?

Don’t think Vodafone debt relates to that; lost a phone and eventually borrowed an old one off someone and used that til I could get a newer one. I’ve been with Vodafone since then plus when I lost that phone I lived in a totally different city to the one they’ve attached to the default0 -

Lenders use the data on your file to make a decision based on their own scoring process which you will never see or know about (to stop people trying to cheat the system).
