Inaccurate energy bill!

My partner and I live in a 1 bedroom terraced house.. we were previously with Octopus energy, having now left, they’ve sent us our final bill - it’s extortionate! They’re trying to say we owe them £896.51! From April 2018 - March 2019. This is also with paying DD during that time.
It’s just ridiculous, there’s 2 of us in the property, which is small, we’re very careful with what we use etc.. oh and we don’t have gas to electric. We just can’t see that being right.
We queried whether the box could be faulty to which they’ve replied with ways to test if it is but also saying that if it’s tested and turns out to be working fine then we could be charged £192?!
Any help people can give would be much appreciated.

In what way is the bill you have received inaccurate? :huh:0 -
More info please - are these your readings ; tariff details, DD
Have a close look at your bills - has the DD been deducted.?Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0
