Holiday villa owners pull out last minute. What are our rights?

Hi there,
I'm looking for some advice or help regarding a holiday home being cancelled at the last minute.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, the villa we were due to be staying at in Spain has fallen through and we're now looking for something that sleeps 16 people for 2 weeks from tomorrow!
The villa was booked through an agency based in Spain. Apart from (presumably) a refund, what other rights do we have?
Oh, and does anyone have a spare 16 person villa in the south of Spain available tomorrow! :rotfl:

Plus your rights will be under Spanish law not UK law .0

Just standard holiday travel insurance0 -
Have you contacted the same agency to see if they can find you alternative accommodation?
You'll probably find the T&Cs allow them to cancel any time without having liability for your out of pocket expenses (flights etc). Very unfair.0 -

A last minute airbnb might be doable, obviously not great chances given we are moving into peak season but worth looking0

We advertise our place in Cyprus on Holiday Lettings/Trip Advisor
https://www.holidaylettings.co.uk/
We have also used Owners Direct in the past. This now seems to be called Home Away https://www.homeaway.co.uk/
Good luck ...0 -
We've hired via Owners Direct previously, without issue.0
