So sorry to hear the original defence caused you to lose - it is a cautionary tale. I hope you don't end up settling the others, as cases can go the other way (we've seen it happen). Did you field a better defence to those?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

He allowed the £100 fine but not the £60 added. I then had the court fee and solicitor fee on top as well as a few costs for the Euro parking chap.
Not sure why the solicitor fee had to be included. I thought that the Claimant had to cover this in a small claim.
Thanks Clarinet for coming back even though you lost. You managed to reduce the amount by £60.00. Everyone should aim to at least knock out this £60.00.

They can add on £50 legal fees for filling out the paperwork.0 -

It was probably the ubiquitous (but legitimate) capped £50 for legal costs.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
