Haven't used HSBC account in 6-10 years, think its still active.

But not sure the details, what can I do? The reason I think this is because I still get emails now and again from HSBC it was just the most recent one mentioned about my Visa card and when I last used it I had a cashcard so worried if its still active a card has been sent to previous address and can be used for fraud.
Can I go on my credit files and see any info there?

Well I tried livechat and on phone and they say I can't do anything without sort code and account number, despite having my previous addresses, passport etc.0

So you've got nothing with sort code account number on, an old cheque maybe ?0

Or go into a branch with some identification0

Or make a SAR request using your name, address and dob. I successfully made a SAR request to Natwest without sort code or account number and managed to get over 40 pages of documents including full account details.I work within the voluntary sector, supporting vulnerable people to rebuild their lives.
