PCN from Ace Security Services - Visitor permit fell from dash

afc96 Posts: 2 Newbie
The driver received a window PCN from ace security services for parking in a visitor space without displaying a valid permit. acesecurities .co. uk/
The driver had displayed the permit however it must have fallen from the dash when the boot / doors were closed. The driver has a valid visitor permit that I can be supplied.
Does the driver have reasonable grounds to appeal? and if so Should he/she appeal this ticket immediately?

Having read through similar posts and those with tickets from Ace Security Services, it seems like most recipients received a NTK from the company.

Thanks!

parking companies routinely refuse any and all appeals , so only a judge can decide the answer to your question

please read the NEWBIES sticky thread near the top of this forum

if it was a windscreen pcn, follow those instructions

if its a postal pcn , then appeal it with the blue text template from that thread (unless the vehicle is a hire or lease or company vehicle)

if its the latter, read and follow the edna basher advice at the bottom of the first post

also edit your post to remove any idea of who was driving on the day

the DRIVER parked on the day and the DRIVER made any errors

any postal notices come to the KEEPER, not the DRIVER

those 2 words are the only 2 words required

You can of course appeal. Ace are an IPC/IAS member which is a scam set up by the incompetent, infamous Gladstones solicitors

The IAS are not interested in the reason why, more so they support their paying members/scammers

The main point, you have a permit so show them a copy. The so called "fluttering" ticket/permit happens a lot and is easy to happen.

Tell us what happens with this IPC scammer

The appeals process on their website however states the following:

    Unless there are extenuating circumstances we can only accept an appeal against a Charge Notice from the driver responsible for parking the vehicle at the location prior to the charge notice being issued. In your appeal please include;

    The Charge Notice number
    Your vehicle registration
    Your full name
    Your full personal address
A statement that you were the driver who parked the vehicle prior to the Charge Notices issue.

If you fail to include all of the above your appeal will be disregarded for failing to comply with our appeals procedure

The advice on this forum suggests not to supply any of the details that they've requested above. How should I approach this as if i don't supply this information they will reject my appeal.

dont bother and await an NTK in the post , then appeal as keeper

you do realise they stack the cards against you in this way deliberately, nothing you can say or do will change this until the new government CoP arrives

What a load of old rubbish Ace Security Services spout ???

You are under no obligation to name a driver and why should you

You could complain about this to the IPC but it will fall on deaf ears

Ace are practicing a restrictive system giving you no reasonable method to appeal. TOLD YOU THEY WERE SCAMMERS ?

Take a screenshot of that web page to cover any future action.

It is your right to have a fair appeal and if it went to court, a judge would no doubt throw the case out as rubbish

So you know how this continues ....... As you cannot appeal due to restrictive practice, this is what happens

1: You will start receiving debt collector letters. These debt collectors are worthless idiots who can do nothing, I MEAN NOTHING .. read this and never contact them regardless of what they say
    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5859454/debt-collectors-drp-zzps-what-they-dont-want-you-to-know&highlight=debt+collectors+drp

2: After these idiot debt collectors run out of steam, Ace may instruct a solicitor to scare you ?
The solicitor being the head honcho of the scam ... GLADSTONES

Gladstones are a pathetic bunch. If it gets that far, we hold the poison chalice that will zap them ..... then come back here

    Relax and just wait
