Hello,
Well done for owning up to your debts, it is a difficult first step.
You had some good and probably at times hard to read advice already.
Check your electric tariff on Martin’s energy club, it really sounds is way too high.
Appeal the PIP decision.
Dogs I am a huge fan off but don’t have as I work full time and commute.
You are willing to lose your house to keep them but you have to really ask yourself are they really getting the right care?
You say they would be put down but they’re some good people out there and with a help of charity they may find really good homes.
Asking boyfriend for more contributions is more than fair especially if you are seriously thinking of buying together. You really need to have a frank conversation about it.
When was the last time you used your credit card, are you still increasing your debt? Do you have any chances of getting 0% deals at all?
Do not to sell your home, you won’t find a rental that accepts 6 dogs and you are already planning only to repay a part of your debt from the house sale which is really scary as you will have no home and still have debt.0 -
You only need to cut back and find a few quid a month, do not sell your house, especially having dogs as you will struggle to find a suitable rental and the rent will be more than your mortgage.
If your council tax isn't spread over 12 months change it!
Find cheaper home insurance.
Spend less on food for yourself.
Bulk out the dog food to make it go further. Do not take on any more dogs!
Sell your phone, buy a cheap one and pay the bulk of your contract off and go SIM only.
Put a little less away for car repairs, any you have had done for this MOT should last you at least two years before needing to be even thought about if it was a good garage.
Come on, watch every penny you can do this!Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0 -
OP, have you looked at the Lets with Pets scheme? This lists pet-friendly properties. I don't want to pile in when so many have said this, but think you're going to need an ardent dog-lover of a landlord, given how many you have.
Good luck and keep us posted Humdinger10
