Gemini Parking solutions

Hi all
I need a bit of advice. Gemini issued me with an 'Overdue Parking Charge' on 23rd April 2019 as I had broke the condition ofthe car park 'not parked within a marked bay'. I emailed them immediately asking for evidence and stating that his was the first communication I had received from them. There was no reply and then on 23rd May 2019 DRP debt recovery wrote to me. The cost has gone from £100 to £160 but I believe if I had had the original letter it may have been reduced to £60 if I paid within a certain time frame. I called DRP to help me with this but they only offered to let me pay the full £160 in 4 monthly instalments and also sent a photo of my car parked on double yellow lines (quite clearly :-().

I'm not sure what my rights are now and how to go forward. I would pay the £60 as I was in the wrong and got caught but another £100 is just not affordable... Please help x

    Welcome!
I called DRP to help me with this...
Oh dear. Why do people ring parking firms or debt collectors, as if they have some sort of customer service team instead of moneygrabber mentality? Rhetorical question, ignore me, but never phone PPCs or DRP, they can't ''help''.
    I emailed them immediately...
So did you email the correct appeals email given on the PCN? Check that you followed the correct appeals procedure given, and if so, send a complaint to Gemma Dorans at the BPA that Gemini never sent you a rejection letter or POPLA code:

    gemma.d@britishparking.co.uk

She will investigate. She may well get you a POPLA code so don't ruin your appeal chances by saying stuff to the BPA, blabbing about who was driving or that you'd have paid the £60.
    I would pay the £60
No, you won't. People who are informed & on this forum, don't PAY Gemini.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
