Bank account for 11yr old - any freebies??

Any suggestions for a current account for an 11yr old that has some good freebies? When I was a kid, all bank accounts offered so many freebies but nobody seems to do that these days.

Please no advise based on interest rate etc as she already has a savings account so the interest rate is less an issue. It just needs to have a debit card to manage her day to day expenses.

Any suggestions?

Despite your request, I would suggest you should tell your child that interest isn't limited to savings accounts, and give them the opportunity to earn some more.

A good list of children's accounts is here. No freebies for just opening an account, I'm afraid.
