Employer not paying student loan deductions to HMRC

Hi all,
Just after a little advise as to where i stand regarding my student loan as my employer has not been paying my contributions to HMRC.
Long story short, in December 2018 i called the SLC to settle my Student Loan as the amount remaining was less than the next months deduction. I was given a figure which i paid, i then notified my company that i had cleared it and that the deductions should stop. However the deductions continued until the end of March 19 as my employer said they hadn't been notified by HMRC to stop deducting.
As of April they no longer are being deducted but i have made 3 months overpayments (great a nice little rebate i thought). However upon logging into my SLC in May the balance was still equal to just over a years payments remaining. I did some digging and found that my employer has not paid the last 13 months of PAYE to HMRC and as such my deductions have not reached the SLC. Or is it possible that they are still being processed and it will be cleared at some point soon?
I believe my employer is about to fold the company so i am looking for a new job at the moment but if he does this and doesn't pay the debt to HMRC where does that leave me with regards to the SLC if there is still a balance. Will i owe it again? or will it be covered as from my point of view the money was deducted from my pay and i have payslips and P60s to prove this?
Any advise would be helpful

How did SLC give you a final amount if payments hadn't been made?0 -
I spoke with them on the phone and read out each months deductions that were on my payslips for the months that they hadn’t received.0

It's HMRC who pass on student loan monies/figures to the student loan company. They don't do that every payday, in fact, it seems the norm for the figures/monies to get passed over a few months after the end of each tax year. So, highly likely the SLC hasn't received the money/figures from HMRC yet for y.e 5/4/19.0
