Gas boiler locked out

Went to turn the heat on last nite was on for a bit then went off tried to reset it and it say locked out does anyone know what this means?????? I have a gas card and put £20 on it yesterday

    On the oil fired boilers we have at work this only happens if there is a fault within the boiler e.g. no fuel detected or burner does not appear to lite. There is a lockout reset button on ours that can reset it and the boiler will try to start again . Dont know if this is the same for you though?
    Look after the pennies and the pounds will spend themselves
  • Try the lock out reset button if there is one. Or switch of the electric to the boiler at the wall to give it a reset (if its a combi).

    Have you recently bled the radiators to let the air out? If so the pressure may have dropped in the system and it needs to be re-charged.
