Gas boiler locked out

Went to turn the heat on last nite was on for a bit then went off tried to reset it and it say locked out does anyone know what this means?????? I have a gas card and put £20 on it yesterday

On the oil fired boilers we have at work this only happens if there is a fault within the boiler e.g. no fuel detected or burner does not appear to lite. There is a lockout reset button on ours that can reset it and the boiler will try to start again . Dont know if this is the same for you though?Look after the pennies and the pounds will spend themselves0

Try the lock out reset button if there is one. Or switch of the electric to the boiler at the wall to give it a reset (if its a combi).
Have you recently bled the radiators to let the air out? If so the pressure may have dropped in the system and it needs to be re-charged.0
