Hi. I recently had my claim closed for universal credit due to my earnings exceeding any universal credit award. I am now unemployed again and have logged in an done a reclaim. Will I be able to get a advance payment as this is a reclaim due to change of circumstances. Any help would be appreciated.

If your previous claim was less than 6 months ago then you didn't have to re-apply. See link. https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/benefits/universal-credit/claiming/reapply-for-universal-credit/Hi. If you already have a loan from UC then i don't think you can have another until the previous one is paid back.0 -
I think this may depend on how long ago you claimed and when you were last paid.
This link may help:
http://www.cpag.org.uk/sites/default/files/DWP%20guidance%20-%20Universal%20Credit%20Advances%20-%20Nov%202015%20-%20CPAG%20edit.pdf
A bit complicated but it does show that your change of circumstances is likely one that will make you eligible for an advance payment. Plus there is a system for working out how they check your eligibility.
My advice is to just apply and see what they say.0 -
