As the title I want to export a file from Libre Office to an external HDD but can't remember how to do it.
I've done it before but now my mind is a blank.
Anyone help?
Thanks.

Hi,
try right click on file, should get a drop down send to option, choose your drive.0 -
Three different ways:
1) open file into Libreoffice. "Save As" and browse to external drive.
2) find file on PC. Right-click -> Cut. go to external drive, right-click Paste.
3) right-click on file -> send to (external drive).0 -

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
COPY, not cut. If you use cut and anything goes wrong when moving it you'll lose the original from the main hard drive. NEVER use cut for file operations.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Beat me to it, was just about to type something similar. I never use Cut and Paste if I can use Copy and Paste. For anything.I think this job really needs
a much bigger hammer.
