American Express (Amex) travel insurance.

I have an Amex platinum cashback credit card which provides:
I've done some research online (including MSE forums and guides) and it seems this protection is not enough if you are taking an international or domestic flight/going on holiday/taking a business trip abroad.

Here are some relevant threads I looked at on MSE forums:

I've had a look at the coverwise travel insurance silver policy terms and it says:
Dual insurance
If at the time of any incident which results in a claim under this policy, there is another insurance covering the same loss, damage, expense or liability we will not pay more than our proportional share (not applicable to Section C – Personal accident).
Then I look at 'Section C – Personal accident'. It says for a 16-64 year old insured, Permanent total disablement, Loss of one or more limbs and/or loss of sight in one or both eyes, Permanent total disablement they will pay £10,000. Seems paltry.

Amex travel insurance policy says:
TRAVEL ACCIDENT
• £150,000 for loss of life, limb, sight, speech or hearing, while travelling on a public vehicle where the ticket was purchased on the Card account
Does this mean that if I purchase coverwise travel cover and also purchase airline ticket with Amex, and suffer loss of limb (for example), I will be covered by Amex travel insurance (underwritten by ACE European Group Limited) for up to £150,000 and in addition will also be covered for £10,000 under the coverwise (AXA Travel Insurance/Interparter Assistance)?

So, the Amex travel insurance cover is more to supplement the coverwise cover and not to be relied upon as a stand-alone travel insurance cover, because Amex travel insurance doesn't cover losses for medical expenses, delayed departure, loss of passport and visas etc?

I had a look at the Amex travel insurance terms and it doesn't say anything about any exclusions if the same is covered under another policy, so, if it's not mentioned, then they will cover, right?

Although, I'm slightly concerned that the terms I'm looking at is an abridged version and not the full version. Does anyone have a link to the full version?

oh!, if anyone's interested here's a good source (in addition to MSE guide) about what to look for when buying travel insurance:
https://www.which.co.uk/money/insurance/travel-insurance/travel-insurance-explained-a548u8k8qfp9

Although, I must say I'm no expert and it's always good to look at multiple sources.
