I've been thinking about exclusions and have decided that buying the following items mean a day is not an NSD: any takeaway food, such as a sandwich for lunch; unnecessary grocery/food items, such as chocolate; exercise dvds; books; videos for streaming; anything for my allotment; clothes (not that I often buy these, but still); decorative items for the home (same).
That means standard groceries, anything to do with pet care or food, train and bus tickets, bills, direct debits, or necessary household items (like loo paper or lightbulbs) are excluded.0
