Have you got the NW app and applied that way instead?Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0

Weekends and nighttime are not good times to apply for credit.
Something is often down for maintenance or broken and there's no one working at the time to fix it.
I've seen a few lenders that only accept applications during 'office hours' or queue them for processing later.0 -
have tried the app too....still the same....went into a branch on Saturday and they got the same error message so it looks like a IT problem0

Have been in touch with customer services and they are aware of the problem and are working on it....their advice to me....just keep on trying until we have fixed it ! haha0

Applied on Sunday 2nd June and everything went smoothly.
The issue I have now - how to request balance transfer?
I would like to transfer few more balances and it is impossible to do it on-line.
Instruction on NW site states:
To request a balance transfer online:
Log in to Credit Card Online Services at https://cardservices.natwest.com/ (opens in a new window).
Select 'Payments and transfers' from the list.
Then 'Request a balance transfer'.
But.... credit card services are closing down and it is not possible to register any longer...
Then there is no option of balance transfer in on-line banking...
Went to the branch and they said that they cannot do it and to phone credit card helpline - IMHO it is prone to errors and mistakes.
Surely Customer Service in the branch should be able to help so I'd be assured that all numbers are inputted correctly?0 -

Yes they are aware of the issue with not being able to do it online. I had to do it over the phone.0 -
must be fixed as I have just successfully applied from within the mobile phone app0

I've discovered another flaw with this. I qualify as a mortgage customer - but as such am not able to register for online banking, which appears to be the only way to apply...same with telephone banking. I was also referred to credit card services by the online help chat, but as noted on another thread, even if I could ring them, they are closing imminently. I'm going to be having a determined chat with my local branch this week.0
