Assuming that the access arrangement is official then I'd agree. If it's an informal arrangement then it could be acrimonious. I'd guess that the mother might be doing this deliberately as she knows that the father, as a teacher, wouldn't approve of term time holidays.
I think the letter to the headteacher is worth a try.0 -
Dad can write to the school and say that he objects to the holiday. If he is then referred for a penalty notice (or court) he can then produce this as evidence that he didn't agree but was unable to prevent and ask the LA to drop any case against him. There is no guarantee that the LA would drop it, but at least he would have something.0
