Somewhere to stop?

We have made the journey from N Lincs to West Birmingham before and have never found a decent place to stop.
Somewhere around Leicester, A46 to M1 then M69 ??

There’s a premier inn attached to the gynsills pub which is on the a50 in Leicester but less than 5 mins away from a46 junction to take you to motor way

What do you mean by "stop"? Mrsn seems to have assumed you mean overnight but I would have thought that's unlikely on a relatively short journey, so what is that you want to do when you stop?

Gynsills is OK for refreshments or if you need(?) an overnighter. We've stayed there several times. We've also stayed in other Premier Inns in Leicester and, in our opinion, the others are slightly better.


If you just need a refreshment break, Gynsills and the other PIs are probably a bit out of your way. (I find Leicester a bit difficult to drive around, although roads and routes are quite well signposted).

Isn't Leicester Forest services you drive right past not sufficient?
