Well done on the free money.

I think we all need to rant sometimes. I hope he gets on board. I've found my electric blanket has helped a lot. Apparently you can also get electric gilets. Would that help him?

  • My friend just sent this to me, thought some of you would appreciate the sentiment too 🤣🤣🤣
  • Thanks @savingholmes I'll have a chat with him about the blanket/gilet. I think he will get onboard but he's having a difficult week at work and was having a bit of a 'what am I working so hard for?' moment so bad timing. Fingers crossed he'll recharge over the bank holiday weekend.

Listed some of the kids outgrown garden toys on marketplace today, got some interest so if the buyers turn up that will be a much welcome addition to the free money pot.

Popped out this morning to buy some supplies to see us over the weekend. Also popped into Mata!an as the boys needed some new school jumpers. Managed to pick up some long sleeved t-shirts and jumpers in the sale for DH too ☺️

    Love it!!!

I came back yesterday and DD had left the hall light, front room and kitchen lights on.... I totally get the sentiment!

🤣🤣 I like that Dancing, I follow my DH around the house switching off lights and frequently rant so I wouldn’t worry.

I’m sure your DH will take it in and have a think about it all. The prices are scary, does he have proper sheepskin slippers, they keep my feet so warm, they might be helpful?

Pleased I'm not alone but grrrr to our less MSE family members! 😉

He doesn't have sheepskin slippers Sashy, will have a look thanks.

The garden toys have gone so that's £45 made, free money total now at an amazing £192.36 for the month 👏👏

Thankfully the kids weren't too upset about the toys going either as they now have a bit more space to run around and more importantly, extra room to kick their many footballs 😳⚽

  • Monday already!

Had an horrendous cold which has wiped me out (lateral flow tests negative), feeling more human today.

As such we've had a quiet weekend which has done DH some good to relax. The boys have enjoyed it too, the weather's been dry so they've spent lots of time playing in the garden.

Poor DS2 woke up at 6 feeling unwell and came to lie on the sofa, he then proceeded to be sick everywhere so I've had a fun start to the day stripping and scrubbing the sofa and carpet 😫 it must have wiped him out as he's fallen back asleep, bless him!

DH and I enjoyed a takeaway & a film last night after the boys went to bed which was nice.

I've also cashed out from SnapMy3eats so that's a £10 Amaz$on voucher redeemed taking the free money for the month up to £202.36.

The weather's looking miserable here at the moment, hoping it dries up so I can peg the sofa cushion covers out & hopefully get out for a walk as I'm feeling a bit stir crazy!

Hope everyone else is well x

Sorry the weather has been unkind and that you're fighting off illness. Hope things improve for you soon.

Oh no about having to scrub sick off the sofa & carpet. 😱 My kids have a real talent for throwing up in awkward places, cleaning up is not fun!

Hope you got out for your walk.
