Would have been a good choice to invest a few years ago but I agree with the sentiment above. One of the IT's mentioned is trading at a 90%+ premium. I did not even think that was possible !but I don't want to be in the situation of jumping in big a little too late.0 -

It's on every investment you make.
Choosing the funds that have done well over the last five years doesn't mean that they will do well over the next five years.
If you look at articles from five years ago, the top performing investment trusts over the previous 15 years were Scottish Oriental Smaller Companies, Aberdeen Asia Smaller Companies, Aberdeen New Thai, TR Property, Worldwide Healthcare, Biotech Growth, Fidelity Special Values, Genesis Emerging Markets, Perpetual Income and Growth and Aberforth Smaller Companies . All but one of these (Worldwide Healthcare) have underperformed a simple global tracker over the past five years, despite charging huge annual fees, and some have lost money over this period.poppy100
