Some INs to report - M&S Ultimate Sleep Cream - I have no night cream left so this was needed. Came with a gift set with travel size day and night creams.
Also Loreal Age Perfect Toner with vitamin C- I'm out of toner and don't want to pay much for it. Bought this one from Wilko to give it a go.ally.0 -
I've emailed Ultrasun about this a few weeks ago and they said all their products still let you tan. So I'd prefer not to tan at all. But if you like their products, I would just reapply them more than once a day to protect against the sun damage, even though they claim it's a once a day formula, I would generally hold that with a pinch of salt.
I assume then that it's the same as with any sunscreen, you can tan through them all as they don't block 100% of rays, ultrasun just has a formula that stays on your skin longer.
You can get sunblock if you want to block the sun completely, I think the ones with zinc oxide and titanium oxide labelled as mineral suncreens, block rays rather than absorbing them as sunscreen does.
Hope that helps xNo Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

Philosophy Purity cleanser - still don't like the way this makes my skin feel after rinsing. Would not repurchase. Maybe would use if received in another subscription box.
Margaret Dabbs hand cream. WNBA. Would give away if I got another in a subscription box. Smelt synthetic and having now switched back to Bath and Body Works feel that it was not so effective either.
Molten Brown Jasmin and Sun Rose shower gel. WNBA. Probably would use if I got another in a subscription box.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Will not need to buy in 2019
Shower gel - one can of Rituals foaming shower gel bought January, and one that came with my Liz Earle order.
Body moisturiser - set of 3 Sanctuary Spa Body Butters bought March from the CS
Hair conditioner/hair masks - one Bumble & Bumble styling cream bought January
Foot cream
Nail polish - 2 BN Ciate polishes bought for £1 each from a CS
Hair serum/oil
Makeup (except maybe foundation) - eye primer bought March. Bought foundation, 2 brow products, 2 mascaras and a lipstick in June.
Perfume
Bubble Bath
May need to buy in 2019
Shampoo - we have lots but everyone is using the same ones now - shampoo bar bought in May.
Cleanser - will need to buy in Spring - already purchased Liz Earle
Eye cream - only have the one which is in use
Day cream - already bought Liz Earle
Curl cream - have one in use and one backup
Deodorant - will be good for quite a while
Hand cream - 2 from Avon in January.
My updated lists. The Pure Grace body lotion and perfume should be done this week, I think the shampoo and lip crayon will roll over to July.
Of the 7 by Summer, I am nowhere near finishing the never ending brow pencil, not a chance of hitting pan on the blush and even though the eyeshadow has a big dip there is no pan. The mascara is only a mini and has been in use for at least 6 months but it is still going strong plus it is a fab mascara that I am unlikely to purchase myself so I want to get all the use out of it I can.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

One UU this morning:
La Roche Posay Hydreane Legere Moisturiser 40ml WDBA and have done. My HG moisturiser. Nothing else seems to work like this for my skin. Replaced with my backup tube.0 -
Hi all. I have sold a couple of items over the weekend.
Armani She Perfume, Clarins Eau Des Jardins Perfume and Contour Cosmetics juju lipgloss - all paid for and are ready to be dispatched.
Sold 2 more items but waiting for the payment - will report once they are paid.ally.0 -
An update from me:-
UU
Avon Naturals Aloe & Macadamia 2-in-1 Shampoo & Conditioner 250ml - WBA but I find the other 'flavours' do more for me!
DKNY Be Delicious Body Lotion 100ml
Dove Deodorant 75ml Compressed - Invisible Dry
Dove Spray Deodorant 125ml - Beauty Finish
Femfresh Powder 200g x 2
Johnson's Baby Cornstarch Powder 255g - WDBA, HG but they've replaced it (see below!)
Johnson's Baby Oil 250ml - Aloe Vera
Lancôme Eau Micellaire Confort 200ml - WMBA, nice enough but I prefer my HG Eau Micellaire Douceur.
L'Occitane Overnight Reset Serum 1ml
The Body Shop Peppermint Candy Cane Shower Gel 250ml
The Body Shop Berry Bon Bon Shower Gel 250ml
A special mention but not a good one.....
Johnson's Cottontouch Baby Powder 400g - WDNBA, this stuff is HIDEOUS! I don't honestly know how they think otherwise, it clumbs so badly in the bottle and clumps off your skin at the merest hint of moisture, it's not a batch thing either as this is the second bottle from a different batch and they've both been awful! Complaint being sent to Johnson's! SO upset they discontinued the cornstarch powder and replaced it with this!:(:(:(:(
TA - Beauty Pie Super Retinol Eye Cream 15ml - I have decided Retinol products are not for me, I don't like the way they work on your skin and since I don't have problem skin, I don't think I need them.
GA - Clearout of a few things I won't use
7th Heaven Strengthen nail & cuticle finger masques
Avon Advance Techniques Heat Protection Spray 100ml
Avon True Nutra Effects Dual Action Eye Make-Up Remover 125ml - I've heard this can sting and since my eyes are very sensitive anyway, I won't risk it!
Clarins Eau Dynamisante 5ml
Elizabeth Arden White Tea Body Cream 100ml
Jurlique Exfoliating Hand Treatment 100ml - can't see the point in this!
No7 Youthful Glycolic Peel Kit - I used 6 of 8 treatments and loved it but there's no point doing just two in a row and you can't really tag them on to another round of 8, so someone can see if they react to it before buying the full set!
Paula's Choice Clinical 1% Retinol Treatment 30ml - I couldn't stand the smell, also GA for the reasons I TA'd the retinol eye cream.
Percy & Reed Session Hold Spray 50ml
Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Buttercream 50ml x 2
Superdrug Charcoal Toothpaste Sensitive 75ml - I can seemingly use the normal one despite having sensitive teeth, and this one doesn't whiten as well.No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

One UU from this morning:
The Body Shop Coconut Body Butter 200ml WMB but I'm not sure. I got this in my Advent Calendar at Christmas, and I didn't really like the scent at first, I'm not a fan of coconut scents, it did grow on me. It's a nice, thick body butter as well. Nearing to the end of the month, I'll purchase another body butter and some Camomile Cleansing Butter, as I have a discount code for them.
And one UU from this afternoon:
Soltan Protect & Moisturise Active Suncare Stick SPF30 5g WBA and have. The only SPF lip balm that doesn't leave a white cast. Replaced with another stick. It's cheap as well, compared to some.0
