Can anyone put me in the write process in obtaining my Bank Of Scotland Account number.
I have asked at my local Bank, but they said they could not help.
I banked there from 1979- 1987 and had several loans and trying to get ppl but found I am fighting a losing battle, knowing over that years the ripped me off.
Tried my current bank to see if they had any record of the details with changing over period.

Unless you have evidence you had PPI then you are wasting your time. Any records for that period will have long been deleted/destroyed.0

PPI was very rarely sold in the 1970's and only became truly mainstream at the end of the eighties. In addition, finding out an account number from 40 years ago is unlikely to lead to there being any records of PPI. You'll need evidence of your own I'm afraid.
I think you're going to have to forget about this one...0 -
