I have just found a virus decected by an online scanner (StopSign).
It's called Trojan.Mezzia.77 in C:\windows\system32\winblg32.dll - what do I do? THis was missed by AVG.

I use Kaspersky - its very good and will quarantine trojans as they arrive. Those dodgy emails claiming to be from Lloyds TSB or the Halifax are now being sent with trojans attached so beware.0

Stop-sign were actually involved in a big spyware/trojan scandal a few years back.0

No no... I was looking for an activation code!!!0

The virus is not in the vault - AVG doesn't think it's a virus. I have just sent the file to Kaspersky and it is a virus.0

There's a lot that AVG cannot detect, but if you're using stopsign to scan then quit the scan, they are scammers.0

my option would be to stop what your doing, disconnect from the internet, run disk cleanup, then disable system restore, restart the PC, then enable system restore, then run the scanner again.
then go from there..0
