Post office savings - how long to clear?

Deposits IN.

Set a payment up last week that was scheduled to land 28th May. Turned out it did. It's left the account it came from. It's also showing in the post office saver account (31 to be precise). Problem is when i come to withdraw money, the available balance is still £1.00 (the balance that was before this deposit was made).

How long does it take to register with the 'available balance' side of things, as i can't withdraw anything?

I have a few PO savings accounts, and in my experience once the DD is set up pulling a one-off transaction takes a few days. It takes usually 2-3 working days for the instruction to be actioned (where the transaction is pending and cant be changed) before it is debited from my current account. The money debited from my current account then arrives the same working day in my PO saver, and then it is usually a further working day before it is available to transfer from my PO saver elsewhere (either between PO savers or back to my current account)
