Good luck for today. It will be interesting to see how these 'historic" VCS claims fare at court.

ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!
I won...….too easily really. I was disappointed that I didn't get the opportunity to spa with the VSC rep ( a solicitor who made it clear in the waiting room that he was simply paid to represent them, to the best of his ability given what he had to work with). I think he knew before he went in that it was doomed to fail.
Amazingly Judge Bagley - acknowledged that this was the second time today that Mr McFarlaine 'found himself in trouble' ( he'd also lost the previous VCS case) and proceeded to pick up on the section of my WS that showed pictures of the vehicle, all taken within 2mins 50 seconds of each other and then directed him to VCS sign that states ' Any driver remaining in this car park 5 minutes after entry is subject to and agrees in full to the terms and conditions. VCS had the burden of proof that the vehicle remained longer than 5 minutes....they could not...…. so case dismissed, Job done.
All won on 1 simple paragraph...….
I asked for costs, I kept them respectful as I really wanted him to award something against VCS so simply asked for £45.00 loss of earnings and parking £3.50. Which was awarded without reservation.....maybe I should have asked for more. Anyway, very please with the result, another one to mark down to the common man! (or woman ;-)
Thank you for this wonderful website and all you fantastic people that keep us fighting.x0 -
Well done, a good result!0

Well done.
I think that the reps work on a taxi rank basis. They have to take the cases in turn so no cherry picking.
This is the first of the 'historic' VCS cases that I have seen. Let's hope that all the others go the same way.

That would have made a splash!I was disappointed that I didn't get the opportunity to spa with the VSC rep

Hi eyupduck,
At Sheffield court tomorrow against VCS for a case dating back to 2015!
Can I ask you the following?
Where abouts in the court do I need to go? Is it through security and to the double doors on the right? (If that makes sense)
Where did you park for the court date?
Hope you don't mind me asking these, I just want to be prepared for mine.
Thanks
