Direct debit- Closed Branch

Good morning,
I'm trying to set up a direct debit but my RBS branch for which I was registered is now closed. What address should I use for my bank's address. The main RBS head office address?
Many thanks.

The address doesn't really matter. Just plug your sort code into this and use the address shown

Legacy Santander accounts that used to be previously Alliance & Leicester accounts can still answer to the old "Girobank Bootle, Liverpool" address if you have nothing else to put down, even though it had been under A&L since 1989, disbanded in 2003 and consumed by Santander in 2010.0

Do a Google search for RBS and the branch and see what comes up.
My bank comes up with an address for a mobile branch at a local car park.0 -
Just say "Online" for the address. Your payee will know from the sort code which bank it is and how to set up the DD.
I have done this for years; never had a problem once.0 -
I suspect your branch will have been moved under another. Eg. when HSBC closed sloane square, I was moved to the kings road. sort code search shows this for me.Peter
Debt free - finally finished paying off £20k + Interest.0 -
It doesn't really matter in my experience - I usually use the head office address. Otherwise, just pick the closest branch to you0
