Did they attempt to fix it 3 times or did you drive it to the garage 3 times?

I drove it 1st time - yeap there is fault with coilpack and possibly sparkplugs, we will delete EML from dashboard and you can drive it back. Obviously after 10 miles driving back home EML comes up again. The car was already giving white smoke and idling roughly. We don't have parts to replace , please come back with the car in 5 days on Monday.
2nd time - turned up on Monday , sorry we forgot its bank holiday and parts aren't here. Can you go back home and come back in 1-2 days hopefully the parts will be here , and we will replace them.
3rd time - that was an hour later I come to the owner and said , I would like to reject vehicle due to its less then 30 days and you are telling me now to come back for the 3rd time on a faulty car. He refused to do so , stating he is supposed to try to fix it first.

On all the occasions I have asked them to collect vehicle themselves which they refused stating they haven't got staff to do it.
I live 30miles from them , so I was doing 60 mile trips back and forth.

I have asked the consumer helpline similar question because attempt to fix is different going to the garage , they said the fact I went to them twice is classed as 2 attempts to fix it.

So they've actually only had one attempt to fix it. Parts not arriving, so no work done...? That's not an attempt.

You chose to buy it from 30 miles from home.

Well I'm not complaining how far it is , I'm just telling the entire situation.
The seller has replied to me over e-mail that I bought car over 30 days ago , so he is denying the fact that he was aware of the fault within 30 days of the purchase. We both can't prove it physically , but the car was physically brought over to them within 30 days when he confirmed the fault.
He is offering to sell the car if i give him logbook and paperwork - is that reasonable request ?
