Electric nail grinder? For humans

My younger brother has cerebral palsy and issues with fine motor skills, and he'd like to be more independent however nail cutting is an issue for him, and he can't really bend down to cut his toe nails either... I were looking at nail grinders. Would these be any good? It looks like most of them are marketed towards... dogs instead of humans
If not, can anyone recommend something else?

There are some marketed for humans - as manicure/pedicure files. I would think fairly good motor skills were needed to use them. Foot care is always difficult for those with limited mobility and might be one of the areas where your brother will have to accept some help. I deal with my OH's foot care and make a thing of it - foot soak, proper washing and drying between toes, nail trim and moisturiser! My Mum has a visiting chiropodist that does the same in her own home, but she has issues with her feet so needs the professional touch."Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.0

Someone bought me the JML one a while ago. It was not easy to use, felt horrible and took forever to grind down a nail.
Seems many other reviewers had similar issues:-

Plenty of men have professional pedicures and manicures these days. Consider a regular home visit from a beauty therapist or chiropodist. Or regular treatments at a salon or clinic, with a taci either way if that is possible. Independence and professional/ personal/ home care is the purpose of PIP and other disability benefits.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0
