Anyone have a Kia service plan?

I have bought a 3 year service plan for £329. When I go to book a service it quotes me £79.

Is it the case that the £329 covers you for parts labour etc but there is still an amount to pay for a yearly service and in this case for the first one it is £79 or should there be no cost? The website doesn’t really explain?

I can check with Kia tomorrow but just wondered if anyone had the answer tonight.

I have had a service plan for another make and everything was included except the MOT fee in the third year. I think you will find that when you book the second years service it will show you a lot more than the £79 as the cost of service varies from year to year.

Because I'm a low mileage user (defined by Kia as less than 11,000 miles), my intermediate services are essentially a visual check and cost about £70-£80.

The big services, every other year, cost around £300-400. They include oil and filter, brake fluid, etc.

The only extra charge is an aircon recharge, which I do about every 3-4 years.

I have a three year Kia service plan bought in November 2017 with a new car. I had the first service after 12 months and didn't have to pay anything; parts and labour were included. The only extra was to update the satnav, which I didn't bother with.
I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.

I am sure this has already been sorted by now but I think if you are booking online then the system will probably not know you have a service plan (especially if its via EMaC like mine was)

When you take it in, just tell them and they sort it on the service sheet - I had one for three services and every time before handing over the keys I always asked them to confirm if all costs were covered by the service plan - every time it was fine.

    Hope this helps
