I had an accident in my lease car in April. My insurance company have informed the lease company what they think the vehicle is worth which i agree with but the lease company are saying they want in excess of £1000 more. The insurance company have paid out what they think the vehicle is worth as they request on numerous occasions evidence of purchase price etc but to date the lease company have not provided. So there is a dispute now between the insurance company and the lease company. The insurance company have stated that if they provide evidence the vice is worth more then further negotiations can take place. I am still paying for a vehicle i no longer have. My question is what are my rights now for ending the contract or do i keep paying the monthly rentals. This could be an ongoing dispute which at the end of the day the lease company have technically been paid out. Thanks in advance
