He's only got 6 feedbacks as a seller and 1 of those is a negative so not brilliant. Feedback received as a buyer is meaningless.

Also most of his listings are classified ads for which it's not possible to leave feedback so you have no way of knowing what buyers of his previous classified ads thought.

tbh it's probably no more or less risky than buying from a random person on autotrader.

What sort of feedback are you expecting on a write off? "It's a write off"?
  • A write-off it may be.

However, If he's buying direct from insurance and repairing them to then selling them onto customers.

The cars should still be fixed to a decent standard and 'Road-worthy'.

As you know its illegal to sell 'Un-roadworthy' cars even in you are private seller - which he clearly is not.

I can see he's trying to sell them as a 'Private Seller' but since he has multiple cars for sale - he would still be considered a trader under the Trading Standards rules.

I was just wondering if anyone has bought from him the past and if they had any issues before I buy anthing.

Doesn't that answer your question? He's dishonest so steer clear.
  • Amad Yaqoob is/was the front man for these listings and he is very dishonest.
DO NOT buy a car from him, they are NOT repaired correctly.
He uses resisters in write-off repair cars to hide major safety issues with Airbags, seatbelts and ABS systems, so no faults appear on the dashboard.
