Selling a car while being abroad or on behalf of partner
My wife owns the car but she will be moving abroad for a year or more.
I may keep the car for sometime and if I move to a Central London where I may not need the car, I may have to sell it.
How do I sell the car which is in wife's name when she is abroad? Does it make sense to transfer the ownership to my name before she moves abroad? What are the costs involved?
Please could someone guide me here.

No problem at all - you don't do anything different to if she was selling it. Either sign the V5C and post it to DVLA or do it online.0
