ZZPS & SABA Park Services Ltd

Hi ,
I have recently received a letter from ZZPS relating to a parking charge at a regus office in Cardiff Gate.
I had parked slighlty up on the kerb by a corner at the Regus office in which I work and I then had a parking notice put on the car. I appealed the decision, saying I hadn't obstructed anyone as cars were still able to pass by etc
I appealed the decision online via the SABA website but never heard anything back until I had a letter from ZZPS saying I now owed a Parking charge of £50 plus admin fee of £70.
They have cited the usual don't ignore this letter and (Parkingeye v Beavis).
I am just wondering what should I do , as I never received a decision via letter or email and now this letter has just sprung up.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Everyone is asked to read up on this in the newbies faq thread near the top of the forum before starting a new thread
Go there now to learn about the game you are now caught up in
The debt collectors stage you are now in is covered by #4 in that thread
Ignore everything except a lbcca or court correspondence.
If it comes to that then come back at that time for advice on how to defend a court claim
They have 6 years to start legal proceedings against you
Throughout here you are advised never to reveal who was driving
You need to edit your post to remove details of who was driving
The ppcs monitor this forum and can use posts in your thread against you0 -
Copy your documents, including your initial appeal, to the BPA and complain that SABA have not provided you with a POPLA code. Make it clear to the BPA that this was not a railway car park (where SABA have managed to wriggle out of providing POPLA codes).
steve.c@britishparking.co.ukPlease note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

They have cited ... (Parkingeye v Beavis).
They seem confused. Beavis V PE concerned an overstay in a shopping Centre car park which offered free parking for 2 hours.
Presumably you were authorised to park there. It looks to me as though they are trying to scam you.
Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams so complain to your MP.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.
I notice that some of the signs, (March 2017), threaten clamping. If the PPC did clamp anyone they might find them yourselves in hot water. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -

Do as Umkomaas says, and even if SABA/Indigo show an email or letter you never got, you won't be paying this scam PCN.
Next time, don't go appealing blabbing who the driver was. You threw away 100% winning appeal point for POPLA stage the minute you admitted to driving.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

ZZPS as usual talking utter rubbish. What a load of cr*p about the admin fee off £70, courts don't allow it.
They are a bit behind the times with a mindset of dementia
Parking Eye v Beavis has no bearing on you.
