    I know CashPlus offers services to customers with credit history challenges, but a conventional bank's basic account generally ought to be a better choice.
    Is there such a thing as a basic business account?

    Yes. RBS and NatWest's Foundation accounts.

    The same facilities as CashPlus, but it's a proper bank, and with FSCS protection.

    EDIT: I'm mistaken, those appear to have been withdrawn.

    Go for either Starling or a high street bank, Im leaning towards a high street bank as you have the option if you need to see someone face to face.
