best value kitchen splashback

Hi All,
We've overspent on appliances and is looking for a cheaper alternative to glass splashback. I'm looking for some advice choosing between acrylic splashbacks and tiles in kitchen please.
We are using induction hob so I think it's safe to have acrylic splashback which can achieve the sleek/smooth appearance like glass ones, and there's no grout to clean too. Obviously they aren't as durable as tiles, but by how much? Do they scratches very easily? How soon/often will I have to replace them?
thanks.

Acrylic splashbacks look basically the same as glass, but as they're made from plastic they're lower quality and more likely to scratch. But being up against the walls in your kitchen they should be fine as long as they won't really be in contact with anything? Just be mindful that steam from your cooking is more likely to leave marks and smears than glass!0

Chalkboard or vinyl stick-on splashbacks are cost-effective alternatives that still look great 0

Ikea do panels for splashbacks

I don't know how the prices compare to others though0 -
Thanks all for the suggestion, Laminates (IKEA & WorktopExpress) and Vinyl stick-on are very economical but they can't be installed directly behind hob. I haven't head about Alusplash, will check it out.0
