Poor Credit History but cash rich

Morning all,
Looking for advice on the following. I was in a DMP which has now finished, although I still have some bad markers on my credit file. I currently have a basic bank account, but my financial circumstances have changed significantly.
So I was wondering what are my chances of getting a standard bank account - as obviously applying online requires a credit check.

Thanks in advance

Back in 2010, I successfully applied for a normal current account with multiple defaults on my credit file. I applied with the same bank that I had the Basic account with. I don't believe you will have any difficulty. :)
