How can i request a copy of an Old Tenancy Agreement

The other tenants have a new property together now as at the end of the tenancy i moved in with my partner. One of them has agreed to contact the council and will speak to the other housemates. He also gave their new address.
The council have said that they still wan the contract though0 -
But YOU can pursue the others.Comms69:
The council said that if I can show that their were 3 others at the property and that a Joint liability tenancy was signed then they can pursue the others. I understand that they can pursue just one person but i at least want to give myself a chance that they could pursue the others too, rather than just giving up and accepting it
At the minute there's a liability order against you. Giving these details wont stop that. You WILL have bailiffs turn up, they WILL seize your car / other goods.
Your priority must be to settle this matter. You can then take private civil action to recover the amount.0 -

Why don't they just pay you the money?! Just write them a letter before action x3 and take them to small claims court.0 -
Simply because i don't have £1800 at hand, I'm afraid, otherwise i would have done so0

The bailiffs have already turned up and they said, go back to the council and show them that you weren't the only person at the address and they will investigate the matter. So they advised me the same.0

So get £600 each from the other 3 asap and pay the bill. As things stand the council and bailiffs are going to come after you as it's the easy option, and they won't stop until they have what they are owed.0 -
Thanks everyone for your help. I have already been trying to the get the 2 on board to help too. Life is a lot simpler on the the face of it...if other people don't think they have all the time in the world to make a payment or any amount of money to hand. Sadly, this isn't always how things work out.
At the end of the day, even if a manage to pay the council the full amount and then take them to small claims i will probably still need evidence that they all lived there.0 -

Yes but not necessarily a tenancy agreement. I'm sure you can find a witness who would say the same thing. Plus no-one wants to risk a perjury charge for lying in court....0 -
Would you get details of other tenants with a SAR or would that get redacted under GDPR?0
