There's no such thing as a stupid question, and even if you disagree courtesy helps.
Tomorrow never come's as today is yesterday and tomorrow is today:confused:

    MERRY CHRISTMAS FELLOW MSer's:xmastree:
  • I like getting slightly pricier versions of the usual...my OH bought me a Burt's Bees shower gel and miniatures kit for Christmas last year because on a self employed wage it's not something I can justify buying myself.

Last year we walked round town together and I pointed out things I'd like then he went off on his own and chose some of them. Worked out really well as he knew what I wanted and I got the surprise of not knowing what he'd go for.

Or how about a photobook of photos of the two of you/past holidays etc? You could either get one printed up online or get creative and make one!

Do you live together? I'm thinking bits for the house, a beautiful ornament for the tree etc.

I think it depends on your situation really - does she buy herself everything she wants on a day to day basis? And what does she like, what's she into?
  • Hmmm... I'm just thinking about what I'd love to be surprised with in that budget! But your girlfriend may already have some of these:

    - MP3 player pre-loaded with all my favourite tracks (the modern mix-tape!)

    - A personally created perfume, e.g. www.perfumelab.com - make something with her name on it!

    - Some bespoke or "vintage" jewellery; my best ever gift was a silver/amethyst (my birthstone) dress watch in 1920's style from 2nd hand jewellery shop.

    - A voucher to attend a local art lesson where you can keep your creation at the end (in Salisbury you can make jewellery out of glass).

    - If she appreciates good cheese, a personalised song about your girlfriend! www.give-a-song.com

    - A goody box with lots of individually-wrapped treats, making the fun of opening last longer!
