    Generally it's in the T+Cs that you are UK resident. "Having an address" in the UK is not the same thing. You might be successful, but technically it's a fraud if you apply despite the the CC requiring you to be UK resident.

    Aside from risk, there are all sorts of regulatory reasons as to why lenders don't want to open accounts for people living elsewhere.
