Vodafone Secure net 3 MONTH FREE TRIAL check your bills!!!

Just to for warn Vodafone customers to check your bills regarding the Secure Net. I renewed 2 contracts recently as in 18/05/19 and part of the plan included a Free 3 month Trial of Secure Net. On both recent bills the secure net is due to end on 24/06/19 and will be charged £1 thereafter. I have also noticed the same thing on the other line I have However, they have charged £1 for secure net and taken only £0.97p promotional offer off?????. This promoted me to check my previous contracts and behold, I was actually only given 1 month free trial of secure net and was charged £1 the following month. I have since had this back as it was sold wrongly in the first place but not the point. Its only a few pound & pence but if this is done to every customer who cant be bothered to query such a small amount, it all adds up to extra profits. CHECK YOU BILLS AND CONTRACT START DATE.

My contract ends at the end of June and I want to downgrade (or is it upgrade) to sim only. I notice that everything comes bundled with 3 months free trial of Secure Net. Is this one of these things where the onus is on the user to cancel, in other words automatic sign up if you don't cancel.

Can't stand those sort of gimmicks. Thanks for the heads up with the other issue.

Yes it is, However its not mandatory and you can ask for it to be removed at the time of taking out the contract otherwise yes you will need to cancel it yourself and they have been crafty cutting the 3 month trial and charging after bill one or bill 2
