Haven Upgrade

This is a cheeky post but I don't even care. :rotfl:

I've got a holiday booked with Haven next week, I booked a discounted (but direct) holiday with them in Jan in a 'deluxe' caravan.

I've seen on their website they still have 3 'prestige' and 3 'platinum' caravans left for the week we are going, and with just 5 days until the holiday I doubt they will sell them all.

Is it super cheeky to just call them and ask for an upgrade? Or is there a better way to go about it.

Most upgrades occur at the check-in desk. If you're not offered one, then ask (nicely!)

As per the above, the last time I went to Haven the other year, I paid £30 to upgrade at the check-in desk and got a substantially better caravan.

Hi. I stayed at the one in Scotland, the former Butlins holiday camp. The week before I was due to arrive, I got an email from them inviting me to call and ask about upgrades for £50. This was in May or June last year and during a quiet time for them I think. (no school holidays)

I think it was just sent to everyone to be honest, as I had booked platinum with sea view and there was no higher standard on that site.

I tend to book late and have booked on the night before in the past.

As mentioned wait until you are there anf hope you get someone jolly and have a laugh with them, sneak in aww no free upgrade this time....
