Euro Camp cancellation

Hi I have tried to cancel my eurocamp holiday the website states that less than 84 days till holiday they will charge me 50% of the total cost - I cancelled in day 81 as this is the day I received the email reminding me - can they really get away with this I thought I would just lose my deposit - any help appreciated

    Well if you cancelled 81 days beforehand then yes, they can get away with it.

    The booking conditions are quite clear, 50% if you leave it less than 84 days before travel to cancel and in this year's difficult market I suspect they may have difficulty reselling the holiday. Looking at the website this morning they are offering 30% off bookings in July....

    I suspect the OP is claiming mitigating circumstances because she (?) only got the email three days after the 84 day buffer has passed.
    I suspect its tough, and you will need to claim some responsibility for forgetting when the balance was due.

    Yes they can, but is the reason for cancellation covered by your travel insurance?
